Public limited liability company VST pays particular attention to support. The company supports advancement – innovative science, education and culture projects which promote Lithuania’s progress and open new opportunities. We are a reliable social partner; we contribute in solving social problems relevant to the general public, and particularly focus on the most vulnerable members of our society. We protect and take care of nature, and conserve the environment we live in.

We further advancement!

We understand that advancement is a guarantee of survival of our nation, our state, and every individual. We have therefore been supporting the project “National Award for Advancement” for the third year already. This premium is awarded to persons who contribute to the Lithuania’s progress, to those who, by their ideas, discoveries, original solutions, or global achievements, contribute to positive changes, promote the progress of life quality in Lithuania and of the country itself.

Brilliant students are our future

We take care of the future of our activities and seek that Lithuania has more active, highly qualified specialists; we therefore award VST grants to the most brilliant students of the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering of Kaunas University of Technology. The company has granted financial support to Kaunas University of Technology for several times, donated modern electrical equipment, and created modified transformer oil together with its researchers.

Focus on town communities

Our support is oriented to regions where VST carries out its main activity, distribution and supply of electricity. Through providing support for celebrations and festivals in the regions, we seek to make and maintain close contacts with city and town communities. This year, the company is sponsor of Skaudvilė festival (Tauragė district), and celebrations of Jurbarkas, Radviliškis, and Žagarė towns; it also supported Klaipėda Juozo Karoso Music School and Mažeikiai special school.

A reliable social partner!

Public limited liability company VST is a socially responsible company which gives support priorities to the most vulnerable society members. The company is a regular patron and sponsor of individual child care institutions in the country. We seek that disadvantaged children feel our care and attention, and have cosy home which they find pleasant and comfortable to live in.

We support disadvantaged children in Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai regions; the largest share of funds is allocated for the improvement of living conditions in care institutions.

With the view of drawing society’s attention to the decreasing age of victims of electric current, VST initiated educational lessons “I’m friends with electricity, but I don’t play with it” to children living in care institutions. Over 500 children of different age living in care institutions in Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai regions visited the divisions of the company. They familiarised themselves with a dangerous electrician’s occupation, learned to safely use electric appliances, and protect their own and others’ lives.

For the second consecutive year, the company has been supporting the project “I want to see the world” and raising funds for the disabled Lithuanian children. The funds raised at concerts have been already used for purchasing computers with special devices, Braille typewriters, magnifiers and other devices which enable children with vision disability to study and integrate in society. The funds have also been used for purchasing advanced and necessary medical equipment for rehabilitation sanatoriums for children ill with cerebral palsy.

We protect nature!
Public limited liability company VST protects and takes care of nature. For several years already, the company has engaged in moving stork nests from electricity wiring to safe metal poles at its own expense. The company’s efforts to save stork nests are appreciated not only by environmental protection specialists and people living in granges inhabited by storks, but also by the Ministry of Environment. The company received an award for protection of nature.
